▣ 교육과정

한국어문화교육원은 한국어를 배우고자 하는 외국인에게 한국어와 한국 문화를 교육하여, 한국을 이해할 수 있게 하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

본 교육원의 한국어 교육과정은 읽기, 쓰기, 듣기, 말하기 네 영역으로 분리형 수업을 진행하여 수준별‧단계별 학습 시스템을 구축하고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라 한국에서 학업을 진행하고자 하는 학생들을 위하여 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 대비반을 매학기 운영하고, TOPIK 수준의 자체 시험을 시행하여 외국인 학생들에게 새로운 문항 유형과 수준에 대한 적응 기회를 제공하고 있습니다. 마지막으로 전통과 현대를 아우르는 다양한 한국문화를 체험함으로써 언어를 넘어 문화적 소통을 확대하고 있습니다.

한국어문화교육원은 현재에 머물지 않기 위해 끊임없이 변화하고 있습니다. 대표적으로 운영되는 한국어 정규과정 외에도 단기과정, 한국어 교사양성과정 그리고 정부초청 외국인 장학생 한국어연수과정(GKS) 등을 개편 및 개발하여 국내‧외 한국어 교육과정의 변화에 적극적으로 부응하고 있습니다.

▣ Curriculum

KLCE aim to educate foreigners who want to learn Korean so that they can understand Korea.

The Korean language curriculum of this education center is divided into four areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and establishing a level-by-level and step-by-step learning system. In addition, the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) preparation class is operated every semester for students who want to go to college in Korea. By conducting TOPIK-level self-test, we provide foreign students with opportunities to adapt to new question types and levels. Finally, we are expanding cultural communication beyond language by experiencing various Korean cultures including tradition and modernity. 

The center is constantly changing. In addition to the representative regular Korean courses, we are actively responding to changes in the Korean language curriculum at home and abroad by reorganizing and developing short-term courses, Korean teacher training courses, and government-invited Korean language training courses (GKS).

▣ 교수진 및 교직원

한국어문화교육원의 교수진들은 한국어교육 및 한국문화 전공자로 축적된 교육경험과 지식을 겸비하고 있습니다. 또한 담임 제도와 상담실을 활용하여 외국인 학생들의 출결, 학업을 포함한 한국 생활 적응을 돕고 있습니다. 그리고 교사 역량 강화를 위하여 교수진 모두가 지속적으로 연구활동을 수행하고 있고, 워크숍 참석 등으로 교수법을 공유하고 있습니다. 교수진 외에도 다양한 언어권을 경험한 교직원들이 상호 보완하여 학생들의 편의를 돕고 있습니다. 

▣ Faculty and Staff

The faculty of KLCE majored in Korean language education and Korean culture, and has accumulated educational experience and knowledge. In addition, we use the homeroom teacher system and counseling room to help foreign students adapt to Korean life, including attendance and studies. and all faculty members continue to carry out research activities to strengthen teacher competency, and share teaching methods by attending workshops. Staff who have experienced various language cultures also complement each other with faculty to help students' convenience.

▣ 학습자 중심의 교육시설

‘국제 전문인력 양성 국책 대학＇에 걸맞게 효과적인 언어학습을 위한 최신 시설이 마련되어 있습니다. 교내 모든 강의실이 최신식 컴퓨터로 강의가 진행되고 있고, 해당 교육방식을 효과적으로 이끌어내고자 빔 프로젝터도 활용되고 있습니다. 강의 시간 외에 개별적으로 어학실습을 하고자 하는 학생들을 위하여 도서관 내 어학실습실 구역이 있어 오디오, 비디오 자료를 활용하여 자율적∙주도적으로 외국어 공부를 진행할 수 있습니다.

▣ Learner-centered educational facilities

The state-of-the-art facilities for effective language learning are in place for 'national policy universities for training international professionals'. All classrooms in the university are being taught on the latest computers, and beam projectors are also being used to effectively bring out the teaching method. There is a language practice room area in the library for students who want to do language practice individually in addition to lecture hours, so they can study foreign languages autonomously and independently using audio and video materials.
