GENERAL INFORMATION

• Russian Language and Culture Summer School 2019 provides a great opportunity to practice Russian language skills and experience the Russian culture through out-of-class activities;
• The 3 week Summer School is tailored for students who want to improve their Russian language abilities in an intensive program in Moscow;
• The Summer School is provided for any level of Russian language proficiency;
• Before the start of the course all applicants undergo a test in order to determine their level of language proficiency and assign them to groups.

FEES & PAYMENT

Course fee – 34 000 rubles (450 euros or 510 US dollars)*

*Applicants from MSLU partner universities receive a 10% discount on the course fee

Payment is to be made via a bank transfer.

Fee for Summer School 2019 includes:

• 60 hours of communicative Russian classes
• 30 hours of cultural activities

(Entrance tickets are paid for by students)

• Teaching materials
• Official invitation letter for visa
• Certificate of attendance

Please note that accommodation and meals are NOT included in the course fee.

SCHEDULE

• Language of instruction: Russian
• Class timetable: Monday-Friday (9:30-12:20)
• Cultural activities: after 14:00
• Number of students in one group: up to 12

APPLICATION PACKAGE

• passport copy in high resolution (passport must be valid for not less than one and a half-year from the date of the alleged entry into the Russian Federation);
• application form.

ACCOMMODATION

MSLU Hall of residence

• MSLU hall of residence is located in the city center (6, Komsomolskiy prospect, Moscow) within a ten-minute walk from the University’s main building;
• Accommodation fee - 400 rubles per night;
• The MSLU hall of residence consists of apartments. Each apartment has a double room and a triple room with shared facilities;
• All rooms are furnished with beds, desks, chairs, wall shelves and a wardrobe;
• Each floor has a kitchen with stoves, electric cookers, and a microwave;
• Free Wi-Fi is available;
• The hall of residence is also equipped with vending machines, a laundry room (150 Rub per use), a dining hall with a TV;
• Bed linen is provided to students and changed once a week.
